Not helpful. This company has a policy to not service air conditioning systems unless they are the ones who installed the system. The words the service tech used were "We do not service units that we do not install." It turns out this is a policy to prevent homeowners from installing their own mini split air conditioners. So if you are going to install one yourself, be prepared to charge the line. Buy a vacuum pump and a few tools -- it's not that hard to do.

Hi Terence, Thank you for contacting ARC Mechanical. The first thing we would do if this were our project would be to consult the installation manual to see what the manufacturer says regarding exhaust ventilation. Running a system like this indoors could be dangerous if not done correctly, so it's important to follow the manufacturer's directions. Thank you, Kim
