This used to be our favorite family summer camping spot but after this year's experience (I never had security at my site and not once was I spoken to about my kids or anything the whole 9 days there) then 2 days after I leave I get a call saying myself and other sites have been red flagged and not allowed back because they had complaints about the kids and how the kids were treated...and when spoken to about what the issue was holly didn't have a care about what I had to say and was down right rude and unfortunately my kids loved it there they had friends they saw every summer but we will be looking for a new place to do our summer camping trips where the staff isn't rude and listens to there customers but can we say karma will come back because I'm sure ur pockets won't like losing the money we spent there yearly just saying

The sites were ok nice and level, but crowded. Parked next to the main road which is very busy.. Going to the lake must be very careful when walking to the lake side, traffic doesn’t slow down. Tons of kids and nobody watching them, parents screaming at other peoples kids and threatening to call the main office. Older kids running around with no respect to others, not friendly place. Very noisy. No relaxation in this place!!! Maybe in the off season this place would be nice. Sorry but you lost another customer!!!!!

Not happy campers. 😒 $40 a night....you need a key card to access the gate but since we were only staying one night the woman who checked us in said we shouldn't need one. Left in the morning to get coffee at the camp store but it doesn't open till 7, we were there at six. Unfortunately we didn't realize this until after we left through the open gate only to be stuck outside in the rain in our car for an hour until someone came to let us back in. Fine, no coffee and we just wasted an hour of our time, we'll go take showers....nope! Only cold water. Worst $40 we ever spent.

I have been going here since I was very young. I have made many great memories here as a child and I hope to allow my child to make his own memories here too. We camp here multiple times a year each year. There are many things for kids to do each weekend and a lot of other activities around the area as well such as fishing, boating, biking and hiking.
