Hoagie's Pizza & Pasta

I have had good pizza, and I have had bad pizza. So far Hoagie’s has been the worse pizza; Oily, saggy, mush, uncooked ingredients, and basicaly a crime against humanity. The sad part is that Hoagie's is one the only two pizza places in town, Domino’s being a hunted house, so if you are among the folks who must have pizza once in a while and live in Newport, you are in trouble. Making pizza is an art, it’s not just dumping veggies, meat and cheeze over dough, soak it in oil, and stick it into the oven. Hoagie's, you need to send your cooks for some serious training. At the very least, YouTube helps!

Ample seating when we where there. Food selection is a so-so as well as the taste for the price. In the receipt there was no breakdown of the food that we ate and just realized when we got home that looks like we got charged more as we calculated it.

I truly love this place this is definitely one of those destination that I have to come to every time I visit back home here in Vermont! I have been coming to this place since I was a teenager in here it is 20 years later and still just as good!! Their food is truly original and their flavor is one of a kind and their house dressing is just one of those must haves to go with everything that you order! Keep up the great work guys you are truly amazing!!

Hoagies has really great food. We ordered poutine and a veggie calzone and both exceeded our expectations. The service was a little slow and the actual restaurant is a bit cramped, but we would go back in a heartbeat!
