At the Northfield Transfer Station/Recycling Center it costs $20 to drop off a mattress. Otherwise, if you live in Northfield, NH you can take advantage of our Amnesty Tickets, which are available at the Public Works dept./Highway Dept., directly next to the Fire Dept. Please bring in your proof of address as it will be requested. I hope this answers your question.
The dump no longer does amnesty days but you can get vouchers from the town hall to bring items to the dump for free at your own convenience.
