Beautiful restaurant in town to visit for a delicious bite to eat! We visited Stowe, VT this past weekend and had a great time! The downtown is small but very cute with a decent amount to do. We stopped into Harrison's for a quick app and cocktail. The restaurant is very beautiful with a rustic feel to it and the menu had a great selection of apps/ entrees. I had ordered the oysters which were very good - we got a dozen at about $3.50 a piece which we thought were reasonable. The oysters were delicious and I really enjoyed the sauce that came with it in addition to your typical cocktail sauce. I also ordered an espresso martini which I thought was also very good. I wish we were able to spend more time at Harrison's but overall, we had a great first visit.

I can see why reservations in advance at Harrison's are necessary. It's not a big place, but warm and inviting with the fire going. Service was good and the food came out promptly. We each started with a Caesar salad that was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. We enjoyed the braised short ribs and chicken piccata. The boneless ribs in that sauce with the mushrooms were excellent. We will definitely return the next time in Stowe.

This is the nicest restaurant in Stowe. The food and ambiance are superb, Harrison's is a must visit if your looking to have a special meal.

Great service and ambient....but the food was not good. Trying to much to make complicated dishes ends up in weird tastes. Too much use of blue cheese. The dishes were all wrong, steaks are over cooked. Really disappointing
