My friend, my stepdaughter and I came to Thames Glass to try the glass blowing experience and we had so much fun! I assumed we would have a very small part in the actual creation of our item because we have no experience, but we were actually really involved in the whole process. We picked out our items and colors (two pumpkins and an ornament) and helped to add colors, shape and blow the glass. The finished products were actually bigger than the site makes them look, and it is the craziest thing watching them come into shape. The employees were so friendly and and we loved the casual atmosphere of the shop. You do have to call at least a week in advance to make sure there is an opening but it was worth waiting for! I get the feeling we will be back to make more beautiful glass pieces.

The studio is great and the staff experts are perfectly kind and knowledgeable about their craft and most willing to share. Joined the ornament-making class and learned many interesting facts- thanks Matt! And that glassmaking takes tremendous practice to do properly, without bursting anything!
