What a great destination! Some local friends took me as part of exploring the Woodstock area, and I was blown away! Great educational (self-guided) tour on the process and history of maple harvesting in the area; along with local cheeses. Spend some time sampling the products in the vistor center / store, make your way thru the self-guided Sugar House ("how maple syrup is made") and check out some of the animals on-site. There's a neat little maple trail that has a little Wedding Chapel hidden in the woods. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area... promise you'll carryout plenty of VT cheese too.

You just can't visit Vermont without finding an amazing maple syrup place to tour, right? You can find that here, at Sugarbush Farm! They did a really decent job of keeping most of it interesting and raw, like an actual working farm. There is a tour area where you can walk through the maples and see how they collect the sap/syrup. This includes a great lesson on how they make stuff and trivia questions to help you learn. Then follow the tree pipes to the place they actually make the syrup in the old style of wood-fired cooking. Once you're done there, stop by the shop and take a look around at all the knick-knacks, syrups and syrup and cheese tastings, grab some Monkey Bread, or buy some of the amazing cheese! The prices are a little higher than market average, but hey, you're helping to support local business and getting some amazing stuff out of it! And make sure to snap a few pictures of family along the way. Very knowledgeable folks there who know their business and are very helpful! One of the best places to visit, for this sort of thing, in Vermont!

We enjoyed our tour of the farm. There were only two goats to see at the time we went but the atmosphere itself was great. We tried different cheese and bought maple syrup that we loved!! Might go back there when we run out of our syrup🥳. Also the staff is extremely sweet. Don't take strollers with you, as the grounds are pretty uneven.

If you like great Vermont cheeses, sourced maple syrup, and pictures of free roaming cows then this is the place for you. Friendly staff and apparently very crowded when you pass through the main shop due to the zealous desire of everyone to buy their great products made on the site. Don't let the crowd statement deter you. Glad we went to Sugarbush. Very memorable tour and visit. Pet friendly as well. Self tour of the maple lines was cool and Definitely do not mess with the lines. My pic was pretend and not for ideas on how to get "free samples."

Dress appropriately for the outdoors if you plan on spending time out there. The cheeses and maple products are inside.
It's a working farm there's going to be areas you won't be able to access easily
