Shaws recently reorganized everything on a grand scale so it is a little more difficult to navigate if you were used to the old layout. I don't see how the new layout made any improvement to the old one, in fact the store even feels more tight to be in with a grocery cart because the massive produce counters are giant space guzzlers. I don't know why they had to change it.... but whatever. I guess it does look cleaner and fancier... but I don't go there beause I'm looking for fancy. I'm going there for groceries. My original review still stands. (see below) This store is expensive but it has amazing sale prices. Only problem is, when you shop sales, there is often a serious stock shortage problem. The quality and variety of the premade foods is pretty underwhelming, but if you aren't going there for that, everything else is good. Deli meat is good 👍 service is not impressive but all in all, I am happy to have this little store in the Vergennes area. They do supply WIC foods as well. I love having the shaws card for the extra perks and the rewards points for my husband's gas $$.

I am tired of the grumpy cashier's that work in this store. If you are so miserable then go work elsewhere. What's up with the young guy who thinks he is to good to bag groceries? Where do you find these employees??
