I volunteered there for a year and a half until I moved away. It was hard work, in all kinds of weather, but good exercise! The people are amazing, and it was a great honor to work with these amazing and gentle creatures! LOVED IT 😊

The NEER tack shop is great. It is well organized, well run, and the prices are reasonable especially considering all proceeds go directly back to the horses. A very well run and managed rescue

I don't know why I'm getting this. I don't have an affiliation with NEER. But I do know the answer. Yes they are taking volunteers. You have to go online to their website and fill out an application . Your welcome.
If you ask Mary Martin first.not sure if she allows hand feed treats but you can certainly donate them
There is def. Voulenteering here but I'm afraid I do not know an age cutoff. I did see a youngster who seemed in middleschool age but also had a parent present
