Dot & Ray’s in Salem is a must!!! Amazing home cooking, service was the best in town. Parking right out front! It’s Salem so look on the side street too. Wish we lived here this would be our go to diner!

This was the best breakfast I have ever had! Everything was absolutely perfect. Perfectly cooked, perfect presentation, perfect in taste. With food that good, I was surprised the place wasn't packed. Although, - it was 4 p.m. On vacation, I was looking for a place I could get hash and eggs. The food did not disappoint! The "apple skillet" was out of this world! The owner himself was the cook. His sister, who also worked there, said he had been cooking since he was little. With the workload he is under, I can't imagine how long he can keep going, but he is happy and said he loves what he does. I think he is destined for great things. The diner itself is nothing fancy, and parking is on the street, but the service was great and the food was absolutely amazing. Straight up 5 stars!!

Fantastic service and fantastic food. This diner hits all the spots for comfort food. A little more pricey than a usual diner, but portions are good sized for it. Highly recommend stopping here if you get the chance.

Local brunch restaurant and the staff is very courteous (The three starts is only for the Dotty & Rays Special Omelette). Ordered A the delicious Hot Butter Lobster Roll that includes fries, coleslaw, and onion rings and the Dottys & Rays Omelette. I would not recommend to order the Dottys and Rays special omelette, the flavor was not good at all. The other breakfast dishes sounds amazing!
