My favorite watering hole. Cheep drinks and good food. Fits into anyone's budget.

Always have a great time. Joy is an awesome bartender and friend. Just need more fans. We live in Florida for God's sake.

Love this tiki bar. Great to sit outdoors on a beautiful day. Great friendly people. Entertainment is always great especially Southern Knights and Saddle Tramp bands. Menu: Fantastic cheeseburgers; Hot dogs; Sausage, peppers & onions and fries or onion ring

Although not a member of the post my wife and I often go there to see James Stanley's Southern Knights band when they perform on Sundays. This is a 4 to 5 hour. Where they play all sorts of country music and sometimes allow others to sing play harmonica or even play their instruments in a karaoke style period at 3 p.m. everyday they bring out the American flag and play God Bless America. The bar staff is are very nice and I have been told that the drinks are generous. They usually have a grill next to the Post where volunteers cook hot dogs hamburgers fries cheese sticks and the like so that you can have snacks during your time there. The grill closes one hour before the end of the Southern Knights set. If you go and check them out, make sure you sign in at the bar indicating that you were here to see the band. Thank you James Stanley and the rest of the Southern Nights for bringing such consistent quality country music that supports our veterans. Also there is no admission fee or cover.

Commander's name is Ted. He's there just about every day. Call, or go in and speak to him.

I live in Polk county. I am a veteran. Would love to join Amvets. Who do I talk to for information on becoming a member?
