My old stomping grounds have only gotten better! Great trails for walking, running, biking. Good elevation gain for a good workout. The creek was just a trickle when I was there. Still pretty though. Friendly trail users.

Breathtakingly beautiful! Easy to get lost, but once you get used to reading the map, you'll be fine 😁

A hidden gem in Erie County! Horse and dog friendly. Secluded. Quiet. Beautiful views. Get lost in the trees or walk the creek. Perfect for dogs big and small to play in the water.

Lots of awesome trails but it's easy to get lost there. Make sure you have a map. Some trails are very challenging

Questions & Answers

Would this be friendly to take my 12 and 13 yr old boys to ride their bikes?

If they don't mind a rough ride, they could do it. I saw a couple there mountain biking on the trail parallel to us. They seemed to be moving along alright. It might be a bit technical though. Swampy parts are usually traversed using raised wooden decking. We parked in the lower parking lot. There is an upper one as well that we did not hike.

East Aurora is nearby, and has a Hampton Inn and one or two other accommodation options.

Are the trails marked well? Is it easy to get lost?

No, many trails are poorly marked; intersecting with side trails and other main trails. Use the creek to guide you. Upstream to get back to the Centerline parking lot. Rugged beautiful park with waterfalls!

Kellogg Cabin Site: Log cabin built in 1940 by Sanford Hubbard, son of Roycroft's Elbert Hubbard. It was a hunting lodge.
