The transfer station is currently the best run I’ve seen it in my 20 plus years going there. Still, the question remains why this Town doesn’t have curbside collection. That is crazy.

You can bring almost anything to the Transfer Station...for a price. Everyone who works here is friendly. The recycling effort is really well done and the leaf pile is magnificent!

For a dumpster in a town I think is one of the best. But comparing to the others commercial transfer stations this one is really small and the pit is really awkward.

Yes

Hi. I was wandering if construction waste is accepted at this facility? Thank you

I believe yes but it’s by weight. You’d have to drive the vehicle into the weigh station located right next to their office.

is the station open for leaf dispsal today

They open on Tuesday

Are shingles allowed at this dump?

ALBERTO SANTIAGO | Oct 4, 2021
Stacey Quandt | Oct 4, 2021

No. And the transfer station isn't a dump. If the shingles are roofing shingles which usually are a petroleum by product they would likely be hazardous waste. If the shingles are siding and solid wood you should call the transfer station and ask for advice on how to recycle them.

Are mattresses and box springs accepted and how much?

Matthew Clouse | Aug 30, 2020
Prima Murdock | Aug 30, 2021

Depends on weight. There’s a scale right next to the office and just drive your vehicle right on it.

I would like to get rid of a small tv. It's old but still works. Do you charge for this or can I just drop it off? Thank you.

Doug Pierson | Aug 30, 2020

Nope. There's a small charge, either $5 or $10. Cash is not accepted.
