Nice little area not too far from Mount Holly, JBMDL, and numerous other small cities/towns. Shelter's are nice and rustic. No electricity (shelters). Bathroom/Showers are clean and maintained well. Huge amount of trails in the area.

Nice park close by. Trails are well maintained. The main trails are compacted so pretty easily travelled with virtually any vehicle. There is a beautiful lake and some smaller ponds. The nature center offers some guided programs as well. Did not camp there as I only live about 30 minutes away, but visited a few times during the day and twilight hours.

Lots of horses, lots of dogs without leash..... Office is closed on Sunday and holidays.

Yes

Are you able to build small campsite structures if you take them back down prior to leaving? Lean to, fire wall, raised bed??

You can build what you want so long as it's in the firepit as it goes for most sites. These aren't primitive.

Are they pet friendly Are they set up for RV's

They do have a pet friendly loop and there are some rv sites it is highly dependent on length of your rig and how comfortable you are backing in to the site. I highly recommend that if you are a local scope out the sites and make a choice that way now if you mean do they have water and electric then the answer is no there are potable water spots throughout the camp and the dumpstation is easily accessible

Is the park dog friendly?

It's definitely people friendly. Quote from the website "Alcohol is prohibited. Pets are prohibited in overnight facilities with the exception of Pet Friendly Campsites"

Which camp site is your favorite and why? Some are always better than others... More secluded, not on top of a neighbor? Any specific suggestions are appreciated!
