Drove 20 minutes during my lunch hour to check the place out. Showed up 11:45 AM on a Monday, sign says they are open. Internet says they are open. No one there. Call phone number, hear the phone ringing inside, no one answered. I see signs on neighboring auto shop about frequently asked questions about J&J: All revolving around the owner NOT BEING THERE! Guess this happens so often the business next store got tired of being asked why no one was around, so they posted signs saying don't bother them, he's not there OFTEN. - Oh well, there are other gun shops to spend my money in.

I do not usually write a review, but I felt my experience was worth the time this takes. I was running out of time on my Purchase Permit and the owner went above and beyond to get me the pistol I wanted. Best part it was at a very fair price. i know there is A LOT of panic buying, but he came through brilliantly. While I was there the phone was ringing off the hook and that must be very frustrating; you want to help and there is no inventory or the magazines for NJ (10 round) are not available. Joe located the magazines I needed and they were delivered in about a week. Now I know why they say patience is a virtue, unfortunately its not easy to be patient sometimes.

The shop is a little niche in the auto shop. When I visited I was happily greeted as I had some questions about a long gun. We went over the specifics together and the services he could provide. All while not giving any snobby opinion nor putting down any of the research I had done. I was satisfied with service and decided to give my business to him. Service is key.
