Disappointing. If you have visited Gyu-kaku about 1-2 years ago, you'll get where I'm coming from. They changed the concept of the reataurant from 3 different tiers of all you can eat within 90 minutes down to 3 poorly curated options with all of the side dishes being an additional cost. Overall it is more expensive this way. Also, the quality of the food has dropped significantly. I got the spicy beef bibimbap and it literally had rice, bell peppers and end pieces of fatty beef chunks. Anyone who has had authentic bibimbap knows there is always an egg, thinly sliced beef and a variety of veggies like carrots, been sprouts, and spinach. It was almost inedible. Many things on the menu we wanted were not available and this happens every time we come. We ordered the harami skirt steak and literally 6 thin slices of beef came out for $14. Overall, if you never visited before the restructuring, you may enjoy eating here...maybe

So, SO good!! Just really good, well-seasoned meats and excellent appetizers. The meats were so perfect, you didn't need any sauce. And the staff / service are so attentive - I felt like they changed out our hotplate every 10 mins or so, it was almost excessive! Prepare to leave happy, very full, and smelling of delicious BBQ all day. You have been warned! Also the portions are ridiculously huge. We got a 3-person set for 5 people and it was just barely finished.

Had an awesome dinner. We were a party of 3 and ordered the ninja combo. It didn't disappoint. We were all very happy and full near the end

Everything about the restaurant was amazing! The meat quality was fantastic, the service was quick and informative. The grates on the BBQ were changed often and dirtied/empty plates are cleared right away! Prices were fair, and you definitely get a lot of food for what you pay. Due to how good the restaurant is and the type of food style, it does get busy so I highly suggest making a reservation a couple days beforehand to ensure you get a seat right away.

Not a buffet. It's a Japanese grill restaurant. Meaning, they give you raw ingredients and you cook the food yourself on the table in front of you. Mon-Thurs, there's an all-you-can-eat menu. But Fri-Sun, they only serve the regular menu which is full price each plate. Hope this helps.
It is good for everyone but need to keep children away from the grill.
Yes but you will not be seated until the whole party arrives.
