I have been going to the ME at 481 Harvard st for several years and seen it going from a decent place to the worst. It was nearly impossible to cancel my membership even after contacting the manager via email. The worst part was I showed up in person to grab a cancellation form and the person said they don’t know where the forms would be kept. Eventually, I had to get my credit card company put a stop on the monthly payments. At this point, I had more than a year worth of credits unused because of Covid. I tried to use up my credits as soon as possible but they must have canceled on me 5 times including one where the therapist was a no show. They said would give me a credit for it and never honor it. Their documentation process is horrible. I have seen this place become one of the most dysfunctional business places I have come across.

Staff is friendly, but have been disappointed with their timeliness and honoring of my last two purchases. On my first visit, I arrived 20 minutes early and they ended up beginning my 60 minute massage 15 minutes late — but they still ended on the same time leaving me with a 45 minute massage for full cost. On my second visit, I arrived early once again for a 30 minute massage. We didn’t begin until 7 minutes past my slot and they told me they were finished 6 minutes early. I effectively paid for a 17 minute massage which I found a bit ridiculous.

Today was my first visit to a massage envy location in Boston. I'm used to going to places on Newbury Street and today I realized I was wasting my money. Natasha in the Brookline location was outstanding. She was so sweet and professional. I felt like a new person after my experience. Lovely people and worth your time and money.
