Bella was amazing!! She is simply an artist.. Let me start by saying I have very curly hair and she did 2 things that only stylist have ever done to my hair. 1) before she even touched my hair, once I told her what I wanted done, she asked me how high I wanted my sides cut (which is extremely important because she giving you the option to dictate the shape of your head) 2) curly hair people listen! She did not just wet my hair and started using the comb (and you know how that feels when they wet and yank your hair back), but she sprayed it, used her HANDS to massage and spread the water around, sprayed water again and THEN used the comb. Even her use of the comb was amazing 👏. She did not have the comb flat to my hair and pulled back, but she had it upright! Curly hair people you understand if you have the comb flat, it easily gets tangled on the comb. She was amazing! They also had someone else there, at that time, it was a short woman, tan/darker skin who was doing an amazing job dealing with a child. The Music playing through Alexa was in good taste too. Bella changed the song twice whenever indecent lyrics were being played.. Overall great place 👍

My first visit to The Barber Chair today, and it’s going to be my barber going forward. First, I must commend Jakie V. who did a fantastic job reducing my 5 month winter growth to a proper summertime groom. She queried me on my wants, and efficiently transformed them into reality. The clientele during my visit was diverse- young guys, older guys and women all come here. Located close to my home, and very reasonably priced, The Barber Chair is a comfortable shop, and Jakie snd Bella set the friendly mood for everyone there. Appointments highly recommended, and same day doesn’t seem difficult at all- it’s how I got in to start!! Be aware, the Chik-Fil-A drive thru on the lot next door is busy around lunch time, and getting into the shop parking may be a little difficult, but their customers keep the shop lot entrance clear while waiting.
