Beware of their move in special scams. When I moved in, I had signed a 13 month lease with the first month free. I read through the ridiculously long lease, signed and paid the deposit, first months rent and other fees. The day of move in, when I picked up the keys, my leasing agent, Jeannie McClosky, surprised me with a form to sign which essentially stated I would agree to pay back the first month free if I broke the lease and moved out early. I refused to sign, as I had already signed the lease, and since the form should have been brought to my attention earlier so I could have been aware of all the terms and conditions before signing a legally binding agreement. As a tenant, In the state of nj, you are not required to sign any amendments given to you after having already signed the lease. This was Jeannie McClosky’s mistake for not showing me this at the same time as I signed the lease and all the other amendments. Yet, on day one of my lease she and the other agents in the office berated me as if I was in the wrong and assumed I was trying to take advantage of their special and get a month free by already planning to break the lease. (Two months later, pandemic lockdown, btw) They said they would have to speak to their manager about my lease basically threw me out of the office.. Never heard from them again about that form. I stayed the length of the lease and moved out ASAP and the leasing office was largely unhelpful the entire time. Apartment ac and heating was garbage, walls so thin you can hear your neighbors sneeze, water was shut off multiple times with less than 24hrs notice. Washing machine smells like sewage. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else.

If I could give this complex less than 1 star I would. I am currently in the process of moving out, in fact. I signed my lease in mid March of 2020. The process was seamless and at that point my experience was good. Now, after the winter we’ve had, there have been nothing but issues. Throughout this year they have shut off the water 5-6 times with about a days worth of notice. Each time blaming it on a “main line water break.” Why it took 5-6 times to rectify the issue is beyond me. I complained to the leasing office about a month ago about maintaining the property when there’s ice on the ground to which one of the staff members tried to tell me that they don’t put salt down until after it snows. That’s just not how rock salt works. Over this past weekend we had freezing temperatures and rain. This caused the parking lots and sidewalks to freeze. While I was outside on Saturday night I took a pretty bad fall and have a baseball sized bruise on my elbow. I again, vocalized my complaint to which they asked if there were any witnesses and if I was carrying anything. This isn’t the point I was trying to make to them - all I was trying to explain to staff is that there should have been salt down. I took videos of the unsalted sidewalk that night and how frozen everything was. There are lots of elderly members of this community, therefore making it very worrisome that they are so negligent. Update - yet again the complex has neglected the ice issue on the sidewalks. I called for now the fourth or fifth time about it because again my dog slipped and fell. This is neglectful. They say they wanted to have a conversation with me about, but when I spoke to them the last time they said they’d call me back and never did. Thankfully like I said I’m moving out, but at this point I’m considering filing with the BBB. This is out of hand. Please please please be weary before moving in here. Parking is also atrocious throughout the entire lot.

Lived here for a year and was super unimpressed. Exterior of the complex needed work/cleaning and was often neglected. Our downstairs neighbors suffered all kinds of inconveniences because of living on the bottom floor (their sink would overflow when we used our garbage disposal, and they had mold from water that ran from our shower usage). When our year was up, we got a letter that rent would be increasing. Instead of working with us when we went to the front office to complain, we were basically told there was nothing they could do, despite our timely payments and good behavior. Felt like all they cared about was money and nothing else. Now we are dealing with ridiculous 'damage' charges post-move out that don't add up or make any sense. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and glad to have left.
