Mark the owner was late. He told me we were not going with him, and pointed to another much smaller boat than related on the phone. I had a family member with sea sickness and only came upon my assurance of the boat size (over 30). It was miserable trip for her and very disappointing for us- no bathroom! The guide could not find the big fish so for 2 hours of fishing in a 4 hour charter for $700, we got enough for one serving of fish. I was looking for an experience and I got one, one I will not repeat with this company. I gave two stars as our guide was polite. When I complained about he incident I was met with pushing hostile agitation. Not worth my time. Not worth your money.

I have been on several fishing charters from NC down to the FL Keys. This one (04/12/2022) ranks dead last on my list. The captain was late picking us up. When asked about the conditions, he replied that they had not run any charters for a few weeks due to weather, but we were going to try running out 8-9 miles. As soon as we got out of the harbor, the conditions were borderline. The captain turned us around about 1.5 miles out due to swells being unsafe for the boat we were in. He brought us to a spot near shore and we bobbed up and down for a few hours dropping shrimp in 30 foot of water. We caught fish, but some were no bigger than the shrimp we were using for bait. It was uncomfortable with the seas that high. We were scheduled for a 5 hour offshore trip and we dropped it to 4 hours. The owner reduced the rate to reflect what we did; this saved $70 for a total of $625 (+ 20% tip). I am happy to pay for trips and understand the associated costs of running them are not cheap. However, this roughly $800 charter was not money well spent. Lastly, the captain asked us right away if we were catch and release today. Clearly did not want to clean fish. Would not recommend this service.

I cannot say enough about our experience. Captain Mark is the best. He made the trip for my 9 year old son absolutely fantastic. We had a group of 6 (2 nine year old boys and 4 adults) and he was excellent with everyone. He took care of us and went out of his way for us. I will forever be grateful to him for helping us out. We caught fish all day. As soon as the lines dropped down the water we were reeling them in. We caught many keepers, as well as just a ton of fish that the kids had so much fun reeling in. If you are thinking about a charter, this is the one you want. We are repeat customers for life. Thanks again Captain Mark!!!
