Love my city, they do a good job of keeping Lakeland a nice place to live. Just today a branch came down in the middle of the road, blocked the whole street. We went to the gym, by the time we got back a crew and equipment had arrived to clear the debris. Great job on Mockingbird Lane guys.

My job transferred me to Lakeland from Clermont, Fl about 6 months ago and I just have to say there is absolutely no excuse for the deplorable condition the roads and traffic patterns are in. There is no asphalt left to them nor paint where the lines go. Signage that looks like it has been refurbished from the junk yard if there even is a sign. I have never seen so many accidents on a daily basis than Bartow Rd/98 and Memorial Blvd. This is a major safety issue and something has to be done. The fees they charge for water, electric, and trash are astronomical! The "additional" (fuel charge) fees are more than the cost for the actual consumption and I do not know how they are getting away with these rates. Lakeland needs to get it together the residents of this town deserve better!

Lakeland is still one of the worst prejudices places left. A caucasian male came to my house from Lakeland electric, pulled in my driveway while i was trimming my hedges and walked two feet beside me and didnt say a word couldnt even look at me. And when upon leaving did the same thing. This is the kind of people they employ which shows what they stand for! No respect, no home training nor any type of professionalism...

I haven't seen the machines out there in years. That's the best lake to bass fish but it's impossible with all the weeds In it.
