I worked there a year and a half. It was the worst place I ever worked. At first it isn't that bad. But after a while it gets boring . No time for growth unless you been there for 5 years plus. Lots of heavy lifting . They don't care if your late they automatically give you half a point. And a whole point if you miss a day. You couldn't have a life outside of Bealls . Plus the mandatory overtime was the worst. Side note I started there making 10.00 and then they only gave a 10 cent raise after 6 months. Then once they started raising minimum wage . It went up to 12.50 That raise that we earned is what new people started out got. It was upsetting.

Got here at 10:00 am was told that I would have a empty trailer waiting but two other drivers waiting from the day before for there empty then 4 more drivers show up and they were told that they would have a empty I went back at 16:30 and was told that I would be lucky if I see one on Monday so FLP LIED so they are using our trailers as storage unit and agent won't answer the phone and nothing about detention time will be discussed so be careful about taking a load to BEALLS no emptys for Landstar BCO

Dropped my trailer here to be unloaded 11 days ago, was told I could leave it while I took an 8 day vacation and trailer would be available for retrieval upon my return. Arrived this morning and trailer still loaded. Been here all day, trailer still loaded, eventhough it was made a "priority"! 1st shift gone, was just informed it won't be unloaded tonight!! Lost 3 loads I could have booked. Don't know what tomorrow will bring.

What a joke this distribution center with a building turned into a processing order plant that is unsafe for the workers (many unsafe employer's faults i reported while employed there) and their concrete floor on the Spur Department worn out with grooves...not to mention their old IBM computer network and their brain wash rude meeting. Do not buy or work there even if they offer low prices and pay good, for slaves only !!
