This place is a joke. When a clown runs the show, a dysfunctional circus follows.

Horrible place. When a clown runs the show, a circus follows. And there is a clown running this organization. Arrogance first, people they serve are a far second.

If this wasn't a church they'd be charged with fraud. We were told that they had positively arranged for us to be placed for three nights in the La Quinta here in Sarasota. But we would have to wait until after the weekend as the rates were too high. We verified with the hotel that the reservations were confirmed. Then, miraculously, the church canceled the reservation without telling us We were outside on the coldest (in the 30s) and wettest (constant rain for two days and nights). Then they ghosted us on the phone. Now we're sick and had we not relied on their representations, might be dry and healthy. They don't care at all!

Kicked my brother out because he wasn't feeling well. It was raining, and had been raining, and continued to rain all week. So a place that is supposed to keep homeless people safe, gets rid of someone when they need it most? Seriously need a better system. Or, people who actually care about the well being of others, in charge.

Hi Carol, I regret that I believe you were misinformed about our work and area of funding support. We focus on ending homelessness, and stabilizing people who are exiting homelessness. I do know that there are non-profits that assist with your area of need, but I am not personally familiar with any one in particular. I did a Google search and see that the Humane Society may be able to help, and I also found this link: https://www.dogingtonpost.com/need-help-with-vet-bills-or-pet-food-there-are-resources-available/. I wish you all the best in your search.

If they don't. Ask them if you can go to safe harbor. They will get you there.
