I need write reviews, CT I had too. Not a good experience. Robert and his daughter Emily owners of Dudley's Auction start out I thought being honest. My thoughts changed quickly. Tbey came out to look at what we had to put in an Estate buy out. We discussed what would go and what we would keep. They had given us a contract with everything that was to go and stay. Plus price and terms that explained the buyout which included everything but the flooring. The price was a low ball for 3 level stilt full of antiques. So the offer was declined. Within the next few weeks, Emily keep in contact. It was still not an option for the buyout. Later, I contact her to let her know the family decided to add some of the items they were keeping. Price was set and accepted with same FULL Buyout excluding thing family was keeping. There was a bedroom set that was NEVER included in the buyout. Emily and Robert knew this Robert told his helpers to take the generator because things were missing in the house. To me this was stealing. I had them bring it back.. Robert was talking about the bedroom furniture which was never to be included. They were told the story behind the bedroom set. So they got mad took only what they wanted. Did not do the job as promised as a full clean out. We had to hire another company. Shelves were pulled off wall and tore drywall. They were ask several times for a contract. Their comment was the receipt was a contract. NOT! The owners are very professional and dishonest. So would I recommend this company. NO, not a trustworthy company. .

I’ve been here a couple times and I love it but what made me think of this place at this second was while I’m watching a show on Metflix called space dealers which is about the buying and selling of “space junk” they show a clip of an auction taking place for some rare items and what do you know it’s good old Dudley’s auction place. I’ve never been more excited or proud of this small town charm!!!

This place made me reconsider all my shopping habits. Thursdays and Tuesdays. Long story short: I will not ever buy new furniture again. Or a ton of other things. Their antique sales are quite interesting too if that’s your thing.

My mother-in-law was moving into independent living. My husband and I went to Florida over Christmas to help her with the process and to empty out her home. She did not have a lot to send to Auction because she kept giving everything away. It was almost comical. But she did have some furnishings and decorative items and kitchenware that she was willing to part with. Dudley’s crew came on time and emptied her house so efficiently. Somethings were for auction and other things were for garbage.The crew was so nice and personable, wanting to please us. They did an amazing job. In A short while, they left her house completely empty. So it was a wonderful surprise this week when my mother-in-law received a check for $600 and not a. bill. Not only did she have her house cleaned out and broom swept but she received a check for it. This is a great service and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to hire someone to help us in the Florida area near Inverness. Thank you so much! Madeline dil of Joan Golway
