Few years ago I had to face the pain of losing my mother and a great friend on the same day. I thought I would never feel so emotionally devastated again until I came to work in this place. The management of the Team Leader with the team it was absolute insane, and through her the will of the entire line of dehumanized executives was expressed who didn’t seem interested in knowing the conditions of the workers ( mainly in the case of workers with disabilities) or the store nor the urgent need to hire more people, what leads to overexploited workers to reach their goals... Behind the kind face that the manager pretended to clients, the truth is that she hid a cold and calculating personality of a sociopath. In addition to clearly showing other characteristics as hysterical, immature, and profoundly cyclothymic person. Goodwill has long since lost the essence with which was born and grew up. They have forgotten that work is done for the benefit of men, not to consume them, and currently the company's philosophy has shown that only considers people as simple instruments of production. Currently the store is a real mess. Its appearance, its infrastructure, the quality of the products and its prices are irrational, and if they had a little sense they would realize that these factors are contributing to the imminent failure of the “boutique” concept. In a certain way, it is evident that the profile of customers who visit this location have more or less marginal behavior. It is also true that many people who are going to donate lack sensitivity and believe that Goodwill is a garbage dump… I think that in many stores like this one across the United States where only chaos, dirt and terror prevail in their workers, it would be much more honest to close them and dedicate those funds to building lives that really work… or at least not destroying lives.

Rude employees. Tried to return a jacket to my closet Goodwill. I bought it from a Goodwill store for my daughter and it did not fit her. So I thought the Goodwill near my home would have not problem exchanging it for the correct size. Unfortunately, the lady in the store told me, “To go back to where you purchased the jacket”. I said but I purchased it from Goodwill I have the receipt to prove it. I did not mind paying more money for the correct size, but she insisted on me going an one hours and twenty minutes out of my way to where the jacket was purchased. I won’t be going back to the winter park Goodwill ever again.

Today I bought a beautiful dresser and mirror (only $60!!) and Vesna helped me tremendously loading it into my car. She went above and beyond and honestly restored my faith in the kindness of humanity. Thank you so much Vesna!! Somebody give her a raise!!

When I witness something exceptional, I can’t leave it unnoticed. Today, I stopped at the store and I was lucky to be helped by a star and I really mean it. His name is Andre. He is a wonderful person. Very humble, polite and helpful. He went above and beyond and not just with me. Every customer in the store was happy and left with a smile on their face. This is how customer service should be. Way to go. I hope you get a raise or you are promoted just for being who you are. Thank you. You really made my day.
