Gemini Springs is a great park. Lots of walking trails. See if you can find the bunny trail. Bike trails that lead to rails to trails. Playground. Open areas the spring and Florida topography.

Started at this trailhead and rode 2.5 miles south to Lake Monroe Park. Nice scenic ride on a paved trail, although some parts could use some resurfacing. Also this is an older trailhead, so the parking lot is not paved. Update June 2022 - the entire trail from Mansion Blvd to Lake Monroe Park has been resurfaced!

My favorite hiking spot. Gemini spring gas pretty much no ticks for some reason. Most other hiking trails in the area are notorious for the tick population. When we do the full outside circle in gemini springs we manage about 3.5 to 4 miles. Parts of it are paved and can be navigated with a wheelchair. Plenty of cabanas that can be reserved for your special occasion. The loop to the east of the park is a bit muddy after a rainstorm but with hiking boots you are in a good shape. Can be managed with regular shoes asside from the one section that becomes muddy ocassionally. The park is free, no admission. Love it. The dog parkbin Gemini sorings is something we don't frequent anymore. Sometimes the section for the large dogs becomes overcrowded with overly wild and uncontrolled large dogs. Most are fine but a few shown some slight agressive behaviour.

Conveniently located, great staff, solid site management, and fair price make this a hard camping spot to beat. We enjoying an unplugged Christmas at the springs this year and are planning another!
