I had a great time living at the Greenery. The building was very safe and close to Temple’s campus. Management was accommodating and responded quickly to any work orders that we needed.

Overall I enjoyed living in the Greenery. There are so many pros to why you should live here as a student. One, it's safe, you need a key to enter every room and even the elevators and the stairwells. Two, the building is very clean, the floors are clean and nice, the trash can be thrown away at any time per floor. Three, the amenities in each unit were awesome especially the washer and dryer are in each unit. The landlord is also very accommodating, down to earth and will help you if you have any questions or help!! I would recommend any student at temple to stay here if they are looking for a well kept, safe and new building! Hope this review was helpful :)

The Greenery is, all around, a great place to live. While very close to the Temple campus, there are many students living here (some undergrads, but mostly graduate students), and also many small families and professionals. Like any apartment building or complex, it has positives and negatives, pros and cons. The Greenery is no exception. The walls can be a little thin, but most everyone is aware of that is fairly respectful of noise. The finishes are not the most updated, but the appliances are new and a washer/dryer in the unit is huge bonus. The Amazon Hub Lockers mean I never worry about packages, the assigned parking is wonderful (if you want it), and the maintenance team is responsive. So, despite an equal balance of pros and cons, what five stars? What makes The Greenery unique? Easy answer: The property manager. I think every apartment review I've ever read is overly critical of the management, but in this case, I have nothing but praise for Mark (this review written in December 2021, if Mark is no longer the manager, I'm sorry, and you're on your own). Mark, and his team, are very respectful, polite, and understanding. They remember everyone's name, understand every situation, and truly want to help. They don't just work at the property, they act like they're responsible for it. I could live in a high-rise building with a gym, movie theater, and coffee bar, but those are all gimmicks. I could live closer to train or SEPTA station too, or in an apartment that isn't next to a very loud street (which is an indictment on people driving very loud cars at 11pm, *not* the Greenery community). I live, and will continue living, at The Greenery because I will gladly cope with all the minor inconveniences to live where the management and staff *care* about the building and people who live there. If you've ever had bad management in an apartment, or if you've never had good management, I invite you to experience how much a truly exceptional management team can alter your perspective on apartment living. Is The Greenery the most packed with amenities, prettiest, or most convenient apartment in Philadelphia? No. The Greenery is, however, a great place to live.

Please read before renewing or signing a lease at the Greenery! I had a pleasant experience while living at this property. The alleyway behind my apartment unit could get pretty noisy at night with people yelling, however, the overall amenities were adequate. I am giving this review this rating for what I had to put up with after moving out. After countless emails to the manager of the property, Jasmine, requesting our security deposit information, my roommate and I both got letters saying we would not get any of our money back. We had both spent around 2 hours cleaning our space prior to move out and it was probably cleaner than when we had moved in. Thankfully we took picture evidence to attest to this. After inquiring why we would not be getting any money back, we were sent pictures of another unit which was NOT ours. Many of these images showed a filthy kitchen and bathroom which we had PROOF was not what ours looked like when we moved out. Some of the pictures were even dated to when we had not yet vacated the property. We were also told that all of our hardwood floors had to be redone which is what took up most of the cost, however, when asked for a receipt of this cost as proof, Jasmine was not able to pull this up right away and it took days to receive this information. When it was finally given, she realized that the cost should not have been that much and gave us each around $100 back. It is disheartening that a rental company would try to scam college students, and I would hate for someone else to have to go through the same battle we did. A month’s rent might not be a lot in the grand scheme of things, but to a recent graduate just getting started, this is a lot of money to be lost. EDIT: The owner has since been in contact with me about this issue and it has been resolved

But I heard that it happened in recent months. I didn’t lose anything before I changed my management team.
