This place is a smaller, more intimate version of The House Of Tropicals located in Glen Burnie. The owner’s sister often runs the register. The owner, Tom, is grumpy. If you ask Tom a question, he will quickly direct you to a staff member. Other than Tom, I have always found the staff here friendly and accommodating. While off limits, the walls of taxidermy here are simply mesmerizing. Tom’s dependably stocks the crickets and small rats that I need to feed my lizards. Like House of Tropicals, the supply of rats usually runs dry by Monday, since the fresh supply arrives on Thursdays. Lastly, I always enjoy playing with the rabbits at the front of the store while waiting for my order. The rabbits and guinea pigs look very healthy.

They take good care of their pets, they know their stuff, they are friendly and professional, the culture there of other pet enthusiasts is amazing! I lived in the area for 5 years and never visited and now I have to tell my kids that we can't go unless we have to buy something. Wonderful place with passionate employees and patrons. Ty Toms Tropicals!

Terrible pet store! They should be ashamed on how they “care” for their animals! This poor guy is practically dead! Do not support their business because they’ll just keep neglecting their animals! All the animals share small cages! They should be ashamed of themselves. I’ve already reported them to the local humane society!

If you are there to buy fish -they have a good variety. But that is where the good news ends. The turtle enclosure is very overcrowded - they had Guinea pigs in a horrible small enclosure. It was so small that they were fighting with each other. The ones that weren’t fighting were hiding in the only corner they could get to. They had 6 very large rats in a very small cage - it was disgusting to see all the animals that were in horrible living conditions.

Usually yes. It depends on their shipments but they typically have more common plants. Sometimes they might run out though. I would call ahead and ask if you're looking for specific plants.
Yes
They have a large variety of live foods, I know they have blood worms, brine shrimp, rosie's (gold fish), etc.
Thank you I will check both places mentioned. (C&D Critter Cove and Tom's)
They should have that in stock
Yes they do. They also have rats, crickets, and much more.
I'm not sure about that specific species but they have many geckos
Baby ones on the counter to the left when you walk in and adults to the right near the birds as of last week.
Call them they always answer. But I don't recall seeing them I was there yesterday. Petsmart or petco would be my to go to for a cage though will be a lot cheaper
I was recently there and didn't see one but thier stock changes up often so I'd call or check in if your local.
They do at times best to call ahead for anything specific because they have new fish every time I go there
Must wear masks while in the store and they limit number of people in the store at one time
I think they might - l have seen taxiderm animals in there along time ago. But Creative Concepts does for sure
They usually have a few different types.
No they do not. They currently only sell mealworms, superworms, crickets, and roaches.
Well that all depends if your buying a fresh water mino or an exotic shark.....🤣🤣🤣
I would call. When I was there they didn't have any
Thats definitely a call and ask question. Inventory changes alot
Yes Great Pet Store. Friendly Staff
No
Not much at all. $20 or so I think. Can't truly remember. They are cute and not real tiny as you see in some stores.
Mealworms, super worms maybe, crickets, dubia roaches. Pretty regular stuff
They had a few Budgies and Doves ..no pigeons
Baltimore county or city humane society will take them
Should probably call to find out
I'm sure you'll have to get the answer from them since each deer is a different size. Their number is 410-256-0330
