I went a coupe of years ago when the pools stayed open a couple of extra weeks. Kids got out of school early so I took my granddaughter. I loved it. Not a big crowd and we were there for hours.

Fair amount of parking nearby, attentive life guards, plenty of grass to lay out in and nice kiddie area.

No cost, just have to park on the street next to the park. if you use your GPS it will take you to the street that you have to park on. It's pretty easy babe
Riverside keeps regular hours M-F 1230-330 and 4-7. Sat 12-330 and 4-7. Sun 1-3 and 330-6. There are programs at the pool that take place outside of the public hours
