Just spoke with the head of Withlacoochee River Electric customer relations about installing solar and the new bill that just past in Florida. Unlike FPL they care about the environment and the advantages of solar. They don't support the new bill and will continue to provide homeowners with there net metering program. Proud to be part of the Withlacoochee family!

Me and my family have been withlacoochee River electric since 1988 and I have to say every time our power has went out due to a breaker out by the road blowing they have been fast responders to get the power back on. In the last 3 or 4 years squirrels or something hit the box and caused the power outage I called and within 10 to 15 minutes they had my power back on no lie and the guys are very professional and really care about their jobs. I've never had one issue since 1988 with customer service keep up the great job

They're too quick to send out their 'blue collection notices' and shut off service, then they force you to call to have service reinstated. (Hernando county utilities just adds the amount onto the next bill). On top of it they don't put a way to reach a representative through their automated pay system if you need service reinstated and they don't make it clear what number to call if you do. Are you hearing this management team? I don't mind paying the bill and the reinstatement fee for my error, gladly, but I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to do it. When I finally got a rep on the line their system was down. Now I have to call back again during MY working hours. The bottom line is, the easier they make things for customers the quicker they get their money and everyone's happy.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. This comany charges you to pay them to start. They don't care about their customers at all. They will leave you on hold for over a half hour hoping that you give up. Power outage and 0 support for it. They just say "known issue" and dismiss you as if you are dirt. It's time for us to harness solar power and charge these money hungry places for our output. I can't wait for places like this to go out of business. The only reason they are around is because we aren't give ANY OTHER OPTIONS! This is horrible, it allows them to get away with whatever they want. It's time power companies were powerless!
