The deaft beer was NOT cold. The chicken on the salads we ordered was inedible. Three stars for the friendly and attentive staff. Would not go back.

Came on a Friday night with a party of 10, signs everywhere said seat yourself, so we waited as tables got up to seat our party bit by bit. We were approached by a waitress who said we couldn’t be seated due to our party size, but all the other servers had told us that it was fine as long as we could find tables. We asked to speak to a manager, but she never got one. We continue to seat our party between two tables, and the waitress came over, didn’t speak a word to us, cleared our tables, threw menus down on our tables, and refused to communicate with us. Eventually another server was assigned to our tables, who was fantastic, and the manager was great. Just double check the attitudes of your staff, but the food was fantastic!

The food was great and the staff as well. Place is a bit too noisy for my taste but it was packed so I wasn't surprised.

We were there on a very rainy, and therefore not busy at all, Sunday early evening. Things started out pretty good. Our appetizers were great! We had the loaded potato balls and the blue cheese chips. After that, everything was mediocre. The apps took quite awhile to come out, which was odd considering there were only four tables in the restaurant. We knew our food would be soon behind, but we hoped our server was good and would have paced our order appropriately. Unfortunately, she did not. So, by the time we got to eat our entrees, they were luke warm. The server was not at all apologetic. Nor was she attentive. Most of the servers stood by the bar chatting and not paying attention to the tables. The salad one of us had was horrible and not at all a restaurant quality salad. The sandwiches could have been good, but had almost zero of the sauce. Our waitress didn't check back for quite some time, so we never got to ask for more sauce. All in all, disappointed after the apps. If we come back, it will be to have an app and a drink, then move on for dinner.

What does 31 mean

From their website: “And what does the “31” mean? Glad you asked. Yes, 31 was the jersey number of our founder, Jay Mize, when he played football at University of South Florida. Given sports is such a big part of our concept, it was fitting to have something that represented sports in our name. But on a much deeper level, when putting the brand together in 2009, Jay learned that St. Patrick used the shamrock (a three-leafed clover) as a symbol to depict the Trinity, or the “3” parts to the “1” God known as The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Inspired, and wanting to pay tribute to the legacy of the one and only Saint Patrick, Jay knew that Irish 31 was the perfect name for this pub, and if we were lucky, the “31” would give our brand a little extra dose of good luck and blessing along the way.”
