Absolutely love this spot. My favorite is the deep fried stuffed French toast. Can never get enough of it. The creamy cheese grits are also always great. My brother had the oatmeal latte, side of French toast, and the chicken biscuit with pimento cheese (can't recall name on the menu). It was good!!

Amazing food and drinks!! This is my first time here and it impressed me! I got the Cinnamon Rumchata Latte and the Risotto Benedict. The inside is very nicely decorated too. 10/10 would recommend.

My first time visiting this spot was this past Valentines Day. We wanted to get a little bit of work in at a decent cafe, and came across this one. There was almost an hour wait! I truly couldn’t believe it, but thankfully the Cross Street Market is directly across the street and we sat inside until it was our time to be seated in Spoons. The website says they are VERY SMALL. This is VERY TRUE! By the time we were called in at 12:20 (they close at 1), there were no more biscuits and no more grits available😩 we ended up getting the Strawberry Mint Mimosa, fried chicken breast and shared some of their huge blueberry pancakes (not pictured). The table where we were seated near the breakfast counter was a little small, however, so it was not the ideal spot for both our food & laptops. It was a nice spot though, and the service was pretty good. I would return off the early next time, to get better seating and a better food selection

Food was great. I had the waffle and protein scramble which were filling and well balanced in flavor. I didn't use any syrup for my waffle as it didn't need it. But if you do add syrup it'll likely just enhance the goodness. I also got the strawberry lemonade mimosa carafe which could have had a little more lemonade or strawberry to enhance the sweetness. But I typically enjoy strong not overly sweet cocktails in general. Service was swift and our waitress was hospitable. Smaller groups advised as the dining area is pretty small overall. Recommended restaurant for those in the area or in town.

There is a display cabinet of Spoons merchandise for sale, including mugs, just past the waiting area and on the right.
Hello Sandy, My partner and I have created most of the dishes. We have some amazing cooks that carry out our recipes daily for us. We had crab cakes briefly on the menu 10+ years ago but not anymore. It's been a while and the recipe would have been mine. I'm not sure who you spoke to? You are welcome to come by for brunch regardless. Cheers, Deborah
