I was recently in the campus of a Christian college recruiting teachers for our school, and I saw a group of 4 or 5 HOPE children who were now students at the college. It was incredible to witness the bond they shared with each other after so many years as a family at HOPE. They shared with me their stories, and how the time at Hope literally saved their lives. Now they are all training to serve the Lord with their lives so that they can be a blessing to others who need that same live and care.

NO. As a childhood moneymarker of this place THEY WILL LIE TO YOU. I was offered to two couples as an abandoned child, they were told I was completely alone and had me write and pretend so they would continuously send money and gifts. None of which I received. And then will cut contact completely.
I asked this questions also. I know you have to have a clean record. Collecting donations is always a great to help. I think they also use help with yard work, housing maintenance, etc. Depending on your professional background, you may be able to help in other ways closer related. Also if you own your own business or are close with someone who does, you could offer services for free through that. I am a Home Organizer and I help by collecting as many items as I can from my jobs to donate. I know they just had a prom for their older children and needed a limo, dresses, suits, food, decorations, DJ, etc. It's best to contact them and see where you can be of best help.
