I was rather surprised to find this gem in the north east! True Texas bbq at its best. This place could compete with any bbq from Texas to California to Memphis! A la carte, a meal for 1 including a side and drink will run you around $18. Skip the coleslaw ;) try something else.

El Cid

Nice Mission BBQ conveniently located at Foundry Row Owings Mills. Parking can be tight near the restaurant, but plenty of spaces available within walking distance. Friendly staff, good food, clean bathrooms. Love the plethora of military related memorabilia, patriotic pictures, flags, first responders and unit patches. Tables available for outdoor dining. Did I say, they got great food?

Oh my Goodness. Food is so salty, even without the sauce. My husband and I order Babyback ribs, so salty I will have to figure out something to do with leftovers, maybe washing them and cook it again. We also had the sweet shrimp, nothing sweet about it, salty also. What the hell they are doing? Food is expensive as it’s and then you can’t eat it. I have experience at other Missions BBQ, and food was good but in this particular place NOT at all. If they had a 0 for stars I would had use it. Maybe they need new cooks.

Just wanted to try something different. Not my first time at missions, been there 5 or 6 years ago and thought the food was phenomenal. Food was ok this time around. Not really a fan of stuff added in my sausage but once again just wanted to try something different. This was a 3 meat sampler. I would probably return just to try more of the menu and have another opinion.
