The Living Room Staff is absolutely amazing! Feeling so blessed to have found a place for my mom who has Alzheimer's spend her days while I am at work. Every time I pick her up she is smiling..happy... completely different person then when home. I am grateful for all the staff who are a pure gift of angels! Thank you! I think they could but have to agree that you should call and ask for Robert,,he is in charge of all the volunteering that goes on in the friendship centers.. Its nice to see that a 14 year old would like to help out!!:)
It is an activity center where you come during the day to enjoy company, exercise, art classes and live bands daily with dancing. It is an amazing place.❤❤❤
You can go to the health department in Sarasota on a sliding scale.. the senior friendship center has dental too.. not sure where u are on a waiting list at? Hope this help u

Yes, this place is great for seniors especially mornings when the have live music and dancing. The main room (3 buildings but the middle one is where active seniors hang out) it's large bright and very upbeat. Like everything here it's most active in season.
There is a very long wait but yes, if you qualify. They don't do advanced dental work basically fillings, pulling a tooth (if not complicated) and cleaning.
I don't think SFC does that sort of thing
I don't live in that area now bu they had many ways of assisting seniors, legal, taxes, etc and I think housing was one of them. The other members are good resources too, being familiar with the area.
