Everyone is so nice and respectful! I love that they have 3 separate areas as my pup can sometimes be a bit nippy towards other dogs after getting attacked by another dog. Very nicely maintained.

There is nothing that says the dog park is closed due to COVID-19 except for a sign on the gate. It would be very helpful if their was updated info on here that states it's closed and not open. We just drove an hour to get here to meet a foster with a dog we are thinking about adopting and now have no where to let this pup run. The thing that gets me even more annoyed is all the people here at the park that are engaging in activities. Only the dog park is closed. This is so stupid.

Two very spacious fenced areas with benches for the humans and shaded areas for the doggos. There's also a water fountain just outside the place with a bowl for the dogs and a bottle-filling piece for the humans. Easy access from the Watkins Park parking lot. There are signs posted telling people not to park at the school to access the dog park. It's really not that long of a walk from the main Watkins parking lot.

This dog park is great. I am yet to meet a rude dog or owner and the space itself is large and has grass. Where I lived previously the gated area was filled with a dusty gravel like substance that made my pips filthy every time we went.
