Very bad experience on July 2. The owner/manager did not show respect to the customers. My wife, my 2-years old son and I went to have dim sum on July 2. At the beginning, we ordered 3 dishes of food, my wife took our son to the restroom for washing hands. The kid felt uncomfortable and cried. We could not calm him down for a while and were afraid to bother other customers. So we decided to pack the three dishes and leave. I hugged my son to the parking lot and my wife stayed to pay the bill. She asked for the packing box. When she went to the counter to pay for the bill, the owner/manager was suspicious that we stole the food and felt unhappy for the $14 bill because it was too small. She even tried to open the box to inspect the food. We felt insult and the owner/manager did not show respect to the customers. This is really ridiculous. After a week, I thought I should post the very bad experience and let other people know it. Never go back. (PS, we have been to the restaurant a few times previously)

The food itself was amazing but the owner was immensely rude to us and basically forced us to pay for a dessert we didn't want because we were waiting for the sesame balls for 15 minutes and then apparently they ran out and then the owner shoved a plate of pineapple buns in our faces but I told her we were still waiting for the sesame balls and she yelled at me sternly "NO MO." I then asked about the egg tarts and she once again replied "NO MO NO MO!" this time with more bravado. Then she kinda shoved the pineapple plate in our face and told us that this was GOOD. And we took it because we didn't want to insult her. But at least the manager lady was nice!

Being a Boston girl and having to move to Baltimore, I miss good Asian food dearly!! I’ve been trying to find my Asian “spot” where I could always go to for good comfort Asian food. Asian Court was recommended to me a coworker so of course I had to try it out! I’ve been here several times and I feel like each experience has just gotten progressively worse. I’ve always gone on the weekend for dim sum and I’ve just become more and more disappointed. The service is so slow and almost nonexistent. I feel like sometimes they’re not even acknowledging that you’re there. I’ve watched people who enter the restaurants and wait for so long that they just leave despite the restaurant being pretty empty because they’re not being acknowledged. They’re short staff but then there are people there (maybe the owners?) who kinda walk around but do not do much to help out the waitress. I don’t know. I just know that the service is not good and the food is only only ok. The restaurant is nice though!

Food and service were both good enough for me to return with friends. The decor was very nice. They did try to hurry us to leave due to the long wait/lines out the door. I don’t love being rushed to leave…

Dim sum is only on the weekends, from open to 3pm. On other days and hours they have a limited dim sum menu (mostly the steamed items) brought from the kitchen (no carts going around). Although, they have a large menu and other appetizers to choose from.
