Kegan at Express Employment was amazing! From the first phone call he went to work immediately to find me a good fit for a position! I had an interview the day after I met with him, and even after he lined that interview up he worked to set up another opportunity for me as well! Excellent service! I have needed to take on extra work off and on over the last few years since moving to WA. During times when I needed to take on said work, such as during the summer when schools have not been in session, I have turned to a few local temporary employment agencies. The last two years I have primarily been on with Express Employment, and I'm sorry to say that I haven't been too impressed. The onboarding process was quick and easy. The people in the office seem very friendly and ask a lot of great questions to find the best "fitting" job placement. I'd even go so far as to say that every company and individual I have had the pleasure of meeting through them has been some of the most amazing people I've worked with...when I have gotten the chance to even hear from them. Let me explain: last summer, I think I worked maybe 7-10 days for express, calling in every Monday, looking for just about anything. I honestly seldom heard from them, and when I did, it was always presented as a "this is all we got" deal, even though when you look online, they would have multiple jobs listed as available that cater to my skill set. This summer, in particular, I have inquired about several employment opportunities I have seen them post through social media, primarily on Facebook. Going so far as to call them, even though they have my interests and skills on file already. To Express Employment's credit, they did connect me with and set up a great sounding interview with an awesome sounding financial company here in town. But I never heard from them about if I got the job or not. Thankfully, the manager of the branch of that said company was kind enough to answer the email I sent to both Express Employment and their company. More recently I was able to connect with Express Employment, and was successful in getting a few days of work, but unfortunately fell ill that weekend, and had to take sometime recover, and not spread another illness with Covid-19 still being an issue we are facing. Most recently, even though I have said I'm not interested in working in the direct elements, they presented me with work that I might be interested in, which was working in a winery. I said, "cool, I have a MAST and Food Handlers Card, and I would love to get back into doing some of that IF that is what said the job is." The person on the other end said they would get back to me after lunch. Well, I guess it was still after lunch when my phone wouldn't stop ringing at 6 am this morning,calling me from a restricted number. Later this morning, I got a text stating "I'm suspended" for a "no call no show"? Upon looking through these said text messages, I realized most of them I received in the middle of the night, and that all of there phone calls were in the early hours of the morning. I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I don't answer restricted numbers in general when they call, or even take phone calls that early, unless otherwised informed. In light of these events, I am unfortunately unable to leave more than a one-star review. Because of the lack of communication, unprofessionalism in returning information promptly, and inability to uphold on the promise that they can find work for me in my field.

Express may have been useful to others but I have yet to see positive interactions from those I am close with. From what I have observed? Express lacks professionalism, has or communication about job opportunities and even worse communication about the details of said work, and they don’t call you. I wouldn’t recommend people use them and try other avenues.

They found me work Farley quickly. If you aren't keeping in contact every Monday to make sure they know your available then you didn't follow directions and it's why you all complain and give 1 star. Stop being lazy! They do a great job.
