In general it’s fine service. Not the fastest location I’ve been to, but the main reason I’m writing is my issue that they chose to turn off the phone line to say this store was closed when it wasn’t. After having to call Petsmart to get them to have Banfield call me, the woman on the phone knew she has discounted the number and didn’t seem bothered for inconveniencing. I guess they don’t want customers.

People here are very nice. However, the whole system is very disorganized. When we initially came in, the receptionist told us one thing. Then the nurse called an hour later told us something else. And when we picked him up, we were given a paper chart that explained something entirely different. I'm sure they took good care of our Simba. But it just made the whole process seem less trustworthy.

My pet has never been seen here but let me tell you I will NEVER bring my pet here. I usually go to the Costa Mesa Banfield and LOVE them down there. I dropped my dogs bottle of insulin last night and won't make it down before they close tonight so they recommended I call the Orange store. After 6 hours of waiting for the Dr to review his file, the Dr here WILL NOT refill the insulin because she has never seen him. Now I could understand that if it was a newer medication but he has been on insulin for over a year and she can see that in the records. So yes I can agree with the last review I read they need to get their act together!!!

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
Hi Kathryn - Thanks for reaching out! We recommend contacting your local Banfield Pet Hospital directly for more information on the best dietary options for your dog.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
Off OWP plan is 25-30 for a rabies vaccine plus the 49.95 office visit. On a OWP plan it is free including office visit.
