Great facilities but the horrible schedule renders the swimming pool useless for the vast majority of San Francisco residents who work a normal 9 am to 5 pm schedule and want to have a consistent lap-swimming routine. Demand is so high that probably opening lap swimming every day from 6 am to 9 am, and again from 5 pm to 8 pm would pay for the extra minimum-wage salary for the attendant at the register and the lifeguard.

There's a senior rate but not disabled. It's very accessible with working door opening buttons, shower bench, wheelchair lift also

Yes. There is a special part of the pool that is separate from the rest of the pool and is shallow and is for beginners.

I believe that you can pay the entrance and get in everytime...but check with them if you are interested in a membership
