I heard that there is a cool cave because the weather is so hot, so I came back from my 8 year old son's school. It's like a valley in Korea, but the water was so cold that my whole body was frozen. It's not far from my house, so I should come often. Devil's Ice Box. Wabot

Absolutely stunning trails to choose from. I chose the 6 hour but did halfway because it started to rain heavily and the stop wasn't planned. Will definitely be going back for more!! Well kept, thoughtful red markers on trees to help you find your way. This particular trail isn't for riding or dogwalking. I'm excited to visit again, it was worth the stop even if just for that lucky pic of a white bird perched on a tree! I'd love to know what bird that was!

Big, beautiful park with lots to see and do. Great spaces for meetings with some of my classes, and the caves were very nice, as was the natural rock bridge. I came here with my dog and the trails were easy to walk on. I did get lost, and a park ranger figured out my location and came to find me (it had already gotten dark by that point) and got me back to my car. I also saw some interesting wildlife, and other hikers were very friendly.

Awesome. Hiked the Sinkhole Trail and The Devil's Icebox. The Devil's Icebox was amazing. Lots of steps but well worth it. And the natural bridge was so beautiful to walk under.

If you are taking pictures for your own enjoyment, no permit is needed. Yes, if you are taking pictures as part of a business.
Yes but it is only available to groups such as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. It is basic campsite only; tent and outhouse. I asked this same question during my visit a couple weeks ago. If you have a group I suggest you call for more info.
Virtually no, lots of trail stairs and some off trail stuff ( creek water, etc)
No. It is still a controlled park. It's a historic state park.
I believe they have to be on a leash and picked up after but yes you can bring dogs. I see them all the time at Rockbridge
It doesn't say no RV parking and I think some of the center parking spots, in the Devil's Icebox parking lot, are 2 long so you shouldn't have trouble fitting unless it's a huge RV. To be sure I'd call the park office. They might be able to tell you where you can park.
We took our dog as well. Just make sure they are leashed and you clean up after them.
