Such a unique experience! The animals were friendly and the place was very clean and inviting. We barely made it before it was too cold to swim but the pool is huge 33 ft. and a big win for the kids. The animals didn't want to eat at night but we fed them in the morning. There aren't a lot of places to eat nearby but there are some so plan ahead. They also have a lot of snack at the house and a fridge to put things. There is an ice cream shop close by called chunky butters that makes their own ice cream. Worth checking out!

Three generations of our family visited the Alpaca Ranch last week. I knew I was in the right place when I saw the two big beautiful dogs greet us! It was so fun to feed the animals and I learned that Alpacas can be very affectionate creatures (especially Chloe). The owner loves all the animals and was very accommodating to all of us. Told us lots of interesting information which we appreciated. Go if you get the chance!!

Our 3.5 & 1.5 yo boys had such a great afternoon at Malissa & Jason’s great home. Well, honestly, my wife and I had a blast too haha, not just our boys. The entire place and the animals are very clean. You can definitely tell how much Malissa and her family love and care about all their animals and how much time and effort they have put in to run their business. Malissa is such a fantastic host that she made the experience super fun and light by allowing us to feed all the animals at our own pace while telling us all her great stories about her animals and teach us about all what each of the animal’s responsibilities are at the farm. We drove 3hr round trip to the 2 hr experience and it was worth every minute of our drive. We will definitely be back and may even stay overnight on our next visit.

Less than an hour away from the KC metro area, the Green Meadows Alpaca Ranch was the perfect weekend getaway spot for me and my animal-loving family. Everything was beautiful, and the animals were clearly loved and well-cared for. It was so fun interacting with the alpacas. They'd greet us when we came up the driveway, and we got to hand-feed them. The house was beautiful and immaculately clean. Our stay could not have been more comfortable. If you want a unique vacation experience near Kansas City, definitely check this place out.

Hello! Our alpacas are very friendly! Alpacas are mostly defenseless and do not like to be chased. We maintain an environment that makes them feel safe, therefore when toddlers are interacting with the alpacas we recommend 1 adult for each child under 3 be present.
Children love it here! We've had many families stay with us. Most of our reviews are on Airbnb.com, with a few on our Facebook page. You can just relax at the ranch and enjoy the animals and quiet, or there are many family friendly activities nearby as well. Check out Cave Springs park, Powell Botanical Gardens, and Knob Noster State Park.
Yes! We are LGBTQ+ friendly, trans-safe, and have gender-neutral restrooms. All kind hearted people are welcome!
