Hometown is a gas station and convenience mart that I have used for years. The owner is a great friendly man.I find the prices to be good and service efficient.The hours tend to be later then a lot of other gas and convenient stores in the area of S.76 and Howard area.I suggest a visit for gas or items that you need in a hurry and you will be satisfied.

Horrible service. Exchange of a propane tank, 5 to midnight, I have chicken on the grill. The spare tank we exchanged there is not working. The tank must be faulty. That's not a gas station issue. But when I went there with a full tank that isn't working, they refused to exchange it. Chicken will have to finish in the oven. Horrible service. Man, old man kept on calling me "honey". Customer service fail. Now I'm stuck with paying for an exchange of a full tank. It's not the $20. It's the principle. The man told me I didn't get the tank there and I should take it where I bought it. I work second shift. This is my cooking time. Yes. Super annoyed.

I personally only have had one issue with this gas station but every time I am in there the owner is arguing with one of the customers. Terrible customer service. It's a shame because i grew up coming to this gas station and won't be coming back since the guy is so rude. Clean store but probably because he has so much time on his hands, on account of treating everyone so poorly that they don't return.
