I've had the chance to do some photo work here and the surrounding areas, it's quite nice. Often you will get fog near sunset though, so just be aware of that if you're a sunset lover or love that golden hour photos.

Lovely beach just outside Watsonville. Ample parking. Must climb over the dunes to get to the beach.

Nice beach with shaded trees in the parking lot and picnic area. The beach requires a good climb on the sand dune but is vast and good for leisurely walks. Found lot of sea weeds /algae on the beach, so didn’t venture into the water. Parking is $10. Has restrooms.

I'm not sure but cost for parking
Palm State Beach allows dogs on leash only (maximum leash length of 6 feet).
You are only allowed to use the barbecues which are built in and can be found at the picnic area. Barbecues and open fires at the beach are most likely not allowed and could result in a fine. The picnic area has a lot of nice redwood type picnic tables and is near the bathrooms so it's a convenient place to eat. It's separated from the beach by a berm of sand. If you bring your own briquettes I think you can have a reasonable barbecue if you work at it..
Not sure, we saw only picnic area
Yes, on leash
