Do not use Inland Memorial for your loved ones farewell. After our 3 hour meeting with Aleana we were hopeful that my mother in laws final wishes and our day to say our last goodbye would go as planned. We became nervous as guests arrived at the church and the hearse had not arrived as scheduled. The scheduled viewing time was delayed until it arrived and the driver was not dressed appropriately and did not know how to operate the casket gurney. We later learned that the regular driver was not told of our service day. As the casket was pulled from the hearse to the horror of our family, the casket was not the color we ordered and paid a premium for. And we were worried there may be someone else in the casket. Fortunately that wasn't the case. Now our beloved mother will be eternally buried in the wrong color casket. Additionally, the guest book and memorial pamphlets were not yet printed! They rushed to print during the service. It was dropped off and no one learned of its delivery until most guests had left. And half the pamphlets delivered had no print, no picture and no prayer. At the funeral we were told Karen, the owner would contact us the following day. Now it's the end of following day and we have received no call nor email despite two calls by us. I don't think we had unreasonable expectations of Inland Memorial and now my family is mourning our loss and upset by the inexcusable mistakes by Inland Memorial

This facility has the most horrific customer service I have ever experienced in my life, My mother-in-law was laid to rest yesterday she had passed on the third. I realize that the fourth was a holiday but it took us an additional two days to plan her service due to poor staffing, The Upland office was completely closed until at least Thursday. Our appointment was 3+ hours long to make arrangements. After we finally got all the arrangements made we felt safe that everything would go smooth on July 18.. Not in the slightest she was a half an hour late! The driver did not even know how to set up the wheel stand that The casket sits on. When the doors opened to the hearse We see a white casket We ordered silver, we were stressed and terrified that it was our family member since everything else had gone wrong They neglected to have someone to transport the flowers to the venue. As we handed out the cards half of them were completely blank the others had no date of death.

I never could understand why the most unsympathetic people chose to work in careers where the entire job surrounds empathy, patience, and communication. You won’t find any of those qualities in this place. They claim to be family owned but it might as well be a chain where they could care less and every person who goes into their system turns into a number. My family and I were devastated with the loss of my grandpa, this place has just seemed to keep opening at a fresh wound. It’s been approximately over a month, longer then they claimed it would take to receive the ashes. When my mother and I went in to pay and set the arrangements the man we met in Hemet told us it would take 3-4 weeks to receive his ashes due to the backup of covid. Which is completely understandable, what is not acceptable is the lack of communication and disrespect they have to not care that our loved one sits in their fridge, while we wait hoping to receive a call of the date to receive his ashes. My mother has had to call several times asking what is going on, in which they said the wait time is now 5-6 weeks when that was never said when we first met. Because if that was the case we would have gone somewhere else. Got to the point where the women my mom was speaking to told my mom that if she was unsatisfied with the service she could take the body somewhere else?? Talk about a nightmare of a business. Seriously safe yourself the worry and pain, and go somewhere else.
