So not only was I jacked around on phone calls when I tried avoiding a doctor visit. I just wanted to know if they were busy and they said they couldn't tell me and then I asked if there was anything I could put on my poison ivy and they told me they weren't allowed to tell me. So ended up having to go in anyway. I sat there for 3 hours and finally walked out after not ever seeing a doctor. I had said something about it being so long overweight when there was only one person ahead of me and I heard the nurse who was very kind go ask the doctor if she could come give me a shot and I heard the doctor say "no, not if he's going to make a big deal about it, no". As I walked out I seen the doctor short white hair, tattoos. And here comes the nurse being polite again and saying she was sorry as I walked out the door never being helped after I spent my entire afternoon waiting to be and all I needed was a steroid

Visited this ER last night for the second time and I must say, what an awful experience at first! When I went in and they get me to a room right away and the nurse says “we need to get this off” and proceeds to strip my shirt off of me. I was disoriented but I know there was at least one other person in the room too. Never in my entire life has any nurse not been more private about such a thing. It was rude, unprofessional and humiliating. The nurse who took her place was wonderful and the rest of the staff was also friendly. I will literally die on my way to the next hospital if need be before I ever return here! Should have known not to go back because the first time I visited they told me I had a muscle spasm, I a short time later had to get a 2nd opinion and come to find out I needed major back surgery!

Spent my Saturday afternoon with theses folks after cutting my finger open. It was probably the most seamless visit I have ever had at a medical facility. Check in was quick and I was promptly seen by a nurse. Once I was in treatment area I was attended to quickly as well. I had to soak my hand for 45 mins and was checked in on frequently by more than a few staff members. Dr.Bradly decided stitches were needed and she went to work. She did an amazing job and made me comfortable throughout the process. When we were all done another nurse came is a described what I needed to do going forward and helped me get discharged.

So I have been here more times than I'd like to admit, Sadly with autoimmune and other chronic illnesses. They are just ill prepared and have no clue how to comfort a gal like me. As my husband says, he'd rather die than go to this facility. I've been going for 20 years and if I had been properly cared for by not only this Parkland but Farmington too, my issues would never have gotten this bad to begin with. I now have so many problems with organs, and more than I not function normally. Have not worked in years! I'd expect better considering my files are all on the computer Yet I go for help with something that I can't control and get little to actual help. Tonight I went to relieve sinus pressure and get antibiotics for an infection, waited alone in a room for 90 minutes. No one hooked up BP cuff or raised bed sides.e. When I asked if they forgot about m I was told that others had emergencies. Needless to say I felt unimportant. I Mind you my husband went outside for half an hour only to come in and find me having a full panic attack. He said he could hear me when he came in. .. I left without being seen. I do not recommend this hospital. I am a local guide and wouldn't leave this review if it didn't seem fair.
