Service was phenomenal and the was even better. The alcoholic beverages are not watered down. Worth the money no extra long wait for food..... definitely going be a date permanent place to eat.

very very good ribs, potatoes & frijoles. the poutine was a little underwhelming and the tomato soup tasted like jolly ranchers. the fondue (and especially pretzel rolls) was absolutely incredible.

Went on a Tuesday before a show. Was easy to get a table. Sat at a bench type table. They gave samples of the different beers on tap which is always nice. Food was good. Biscuits come out warm forgot to take a picture. Fries were really good and they are generous so the whole table got to eat them. I had the beet salad and I would totally get it again.

In A Nutshell: -The Farmer's Union is located in the heart of DTSJ off of Santa Clara St. -In addition to their large indoor seating, they also have a covered outdoor seating area which is nice for people watching along pedestrian-friendly San Pedro St. -The menu is American fare, which at first glance just reads average, that is until you order the food & it comes out. -The food is phenomenal. -I highly recommend the ribs, roasted veggies, spicy chicken wings & the fries. -The service is very fast & good too. Overall, this is a San Jose staple, a good place to grab a bite to eat before you head to a Sharks game or concert.

We had a party of 8 and they were able to accommodate and serve us very efficiently. The food and service was very high quality and a great deal for the price. I'm sure they will be more than happy to host your group.
Both the farmer and pickers can
Yes definitely do call!
You might want to call the restaurant see what they can do.
If you are referring to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, then your best bet would be to use Uber or Lyft. However, that would be quite a drive to San Jose, where Farmers Union is located.
Very friendly!
According to their private events pdf, if you bring your own cake, there is a fee of $1.50 per person. The document is dated June 2017, so maybe it's gone up in price since then.
They have a room upstairs they can use to accommodate large groups. Last time I was there they were hosting a large wedding party.
