Stopped by here after camping for some more substantial food. Tortilla Flats did not disappoint! All the food was really good with large portions, and the margaritas were strong. Would definitely come here again when in the area.

This restaurant offers a comfortable dining experience. It's warm and clean and it feels good to be in the restaurant. Except for the calamari - super tiny little circles of calamari that they manage to get an incredible amount of some kind of unpalatable breading around and then deep fry, the food is good. They did not offer to take the calamari off the bill when I told him that it wasn't good. The price point is high for a Mexican restaurant. The peanut mole. Enchiladas and Rellenos are quite good. Their cocktails are pricey at an average of $15 per cocktail but not out of sink with the specialty cocktails that restaurants are serving nowadays. What sets there's a side is that they give you a decent portion. It costs $112 with tip for two people to eat a Mexican dinner which included two cocktails.

They accommodated our party of 6 on the back patio, which was nice. Had outdoor heaters. Complimentary chips and salsa was nice. Salsa was rather bland. Our waitress was very friendly. Ordered a round of waters, one of which came with no ice for some reason, and 4 margaritas. One margarita was supposed to be a frozen strawberry with salt on the rim, we received a frozen mango with no salt. Another was supposed to be a mango with no salt, was delivered with salt, and mixed very strong with a low quality tequila. The 3rd was fine and the 4th was forgotten. 2 of us ordered the seafood burrito special. Presentation was fantastic, beautifully plated. However biting in to it was 95% cream cheese, 3% tiny little salad shrimp, and 2% of who knows what. Another meal was the taco's ordered with corn tortillas, but served with flour tortillas. Another was the #5 enchiladas with very dry refried beans, though the seasoning was great the rice was also very dry, and the beef was overcooked. With that being said we are all from out of state and perhaps our pallets were not prepared for this version of Mexican cuisine, but none of us enjoyed our meals, and we did not receive very good service. Maybe they had an off day, but cannot say I would recommend.

Pricy for moderate portions but good quality. Exceptionally prepared classic Margaritas with fresh squeezed lime juice...no cheap bottled mix, thank goodness. Would recommend a return, maybe to try Tapas menu. The pic is pork enchilada and chile relleno. Good but not exceptional.

Thanks for asking. Of course all our staff wear masks all the time. They have their temperature taken when they arrive at work and have a list of symptoms that they must answer. All surface in the ki are sanitized twice a day and work surfaces immediately after they are used. All employees wear gloves which are changed as needed. When we are serving at the restaurant all tables and chairs are wiped down with . disinfectant. When wrve inside we keep skylights and windows open with ceiling fans running for excellent air exchange. Please feel free to ask any specific questions.
