I called to see if I could set up an appointment for a Hair Cut. I was rudely told we don't have anything available without the person even asking when I would like to come in. I responded, never, you didn't even ask me when I wanted to come in. I then said, that's all right I will just go somewhere else if you don't want my business. Their reply was FANTASTIC. Not a very good way to get new clients in my opinion. The whole reason for the negative review was because you very rudely said there was nothing available without even asking me when I would like to come in. This made me feel that you were inconvenienced by my call. I did not demand, nor request, a same day appointment with you which wouldn’t have been known since you didn’t ask, as previously stated. If you were unable to take on any additional clients there could have been a more polite response. When you contacted me to discuss the negative review I left, I was shocked to find out that it was the owner of the salon who spoke so rudely on the phone. At no time did you offer an apology. Instead, it was I work 60 hours per week and I have been trying to hire for the past year. That does not give you the right to be rude when someone is calling you for a service you provide. When it became apparent to you that I was not going to change my review, you told me I would never be welcome in your salon and proceeded to insult me by calling me a Hoosier idiot. I could never, nor would I ever, respond with that lack of professionalism as a business owner. After my interactions with you I can see why you are struggling to staff your salon. If this is the way you treat potential clients, I could only imagine how you treat your employees.

A Cut Above is full service and full style. Jessica has been cutting and coloring my hair for 20 years and I feel beautiful every time I leave her chair. I could not recommend her more. I refer all my friends and family to her and they are always thrilled with her work.
