Impressed by the facility and staff Altho' didn't end up adopting would definitely recommend. Wish they would give a ball park cost before one gets totally involved.

Full disclosure I volunteer at the sanctuary, so I might be a bit biased 😁. It is a nice place that has many birds in its care. They take a lot of care when placing birds. They want to make sure it is a good fit for both the individuals and the birds. If you have any questions definitely reach out.

We visited and found a wonderful place where the birds are well cared for and are very loved. Well worth a visit and a donation, even if you can't adopt. Big souls work and volunteer here.

Very passionate about the bids in their care and very helpful. Great non profit to volunteer at and to donate to. Thanks to the team there.

I've been to feathered friends on many occasions, and we've adopted 3 birds from them. Their selection of birds varies, but at all times they have many great animals worthy of a good home. Hope you'll check them out!

http://feathered-friends.com/ FFS is not open to walk in visitors. If you are serious about wanting to adopt a bird, please fill out the questionnaire found at the link above. If you just want to see/be around the birds, I highly suggest volunteering. You get to actively participate in their care and socialization. Its very rewarding
